The Conclusion
The North East Economic Forum will provoke debate in the media and civil society about the region’s social and economic future, but also generate plans for action - how to strengthen delivery and implementation across key public policy areas, with additional work to be taken forward by the Centre for Public Policy at Northumbria University. A conference rapporteur will produce a report to focus subsequent discussions with central government, with our ambition to establish this as an annual event in the life of the North East region.
